WE ARE JOURNEYING ONWARD TO CANAAN LAND
1. We are journeying on ward to
Canaan land,
Guided by our God’s right hand;
From the world’s dark Egypt to a
land of light,
Where the blessed Saviour drives
away the night:
We are feasting daily upon Angels’
food,
Come thou with us, and God will do
thee good.

Leave the husks of Egypt, and feast
on heavenly food,
Break every earthly tie, on God
alone rely,

2. Start today to march the narrow
trail,
Faith in God can never fail;
Just obey our blessed Lord’s
supreme command,
And He’ll guide your foot-steps
with His mighty Hand;
Jesus feeds His soldiers upon
Angels’ food,
ACome thou with us, and God will

3. There are foes to meet on this
pilgrim way,
Jesus wins and has full sway;
As we overcome each trial and
bitter test,
We are led in triumph to eternal
rest;
By God’s help all pow’rs of hell can
be withstood.
